Itinerary

• Day 1: Arrival & Tsavo West Exploration

  • • • Morning:

        • Depart from Nairobi early in the morning and drive to Tsavo West National Park (approx. 5-6 hours from Nairobi).
        • Check-in at your lodge or camp 
        • Enjoy a welcome refreshment as you settle in.

      • Afternoon:

        • Lunch at the lodge.
        • Embark on your first game drive in search of elephants, buffalos, lions, cheetahs, and more.
        • Visit Mzima Springs, a natural oasis famous for hippos and crocodiles.

      • Evening:

        • Return to the lodge for dinner.
        • Relax under the starry African sky with a nightcap or participate in a campfire storytelling session.

       

• Day 2: Full Day Tsavo East Adventure

  • Morning:

    • Early morning game drive to catch predators returning from their hunt.
    • Visit the Shetani Lava Flow, an impressive volcanic formation.
    • Return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast.

  • Afternoon:

    • Lunch at the lodge followed by leisure time (optional nature walk or swim).
    • Drive to Tsavo East National Park, famous for its red elephants and breathtaking landscapes.
    • Visit Aruba Dam, a wildlife hotspot, for scenic views and photography.

  • Evening:

    • Return to your lodge/camp for dinner and relaxation.
    • Optional night game drive for a different wildlife experience.

• Day 3: Sunrise Game Drive & Departure

  • Morning:

    • Early morning game drive to witness the spectacular sunrise over the plains.
    • Enjoy sightings of giraffes, zebras, and antelopes grazing in the golden light.
    • Return to the lodge for breakfast and check-out.

  • Afternoon:

    • Begin the journey back to Nairobi or Mombasa with a brief stop for souvenirs.
    • Arrive at your destination in the late afternoon.
