Samburu

North of the usual safari map, Samburu holds animals you won't see in the Mara, the reticulated giraffe, The Grevy's zebra, species found almost nowhere else. The Samburu people, close cousins of the Maasai, bring a culture as distinct as the landscape. The Ewaso Nyiro River cuts through it all, a ribbon of green in otherwise rugged, remote country. This is safari for the traveler who's already done the obvious.
